1OUR INNOVATIONS
Paying attention to clothing has been a tradition at La Parisienne since 1898. But, for us, it’s also about innovation. In 2018, we introduced our odour eliminator detergent, which frees your clothes from lingering odours, and introduced Fibre Protection technology, which removes lint and livens up fabrics. With our Confort-douceur formula, launched in 2009 and included in our fabric softeners, your clothes are in really good hands.
2OUR BIODEGRADABLE PRODUCTS
To minimize the impact our products have on the health of the planet and the people who live on it, we made all our detergents, fabric softeners, dishwashing liquids and dishwasher tablets biodegradable.
Bleach, however, simply can’t be. So we developed an ecological alternative: La Parisienne 2 bleach alternative, which doesn’t contain any chlorine or phosphates.
3OUR CONCERN FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
A better world is being built for future generations, even as we speak! And we’re putting our best efforts into ensuring it’s done successfully. Not only is our packaging recyclable, but we also offer more concentrated detergent formulas than any of our competitors, which limits our use of water. Also, since most of our products are manufactured and sold in Quebec, our transportation footprint is greatly reduced.
4OUR PRODUCTS FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
Toddlers, as well as the growing number of people with sensitive or allergic skin, deserve special care. We always have them in mind. Our product line includes a hypoallergenic, scent-free, and dye-free detergent and softener. We also offer a detergent specially formulated for baby clothes. To ensure our products don’t irritate sensitive skin, they’ve all been thoroughly tested by an independent lab that specializes in dermatological matters.
5OUR LOCAL ROOTS
La Parisienne was born and raised in Quebec. We’re a homegrown brand and we’re proud of it. At our factories in Montreal and Laval, we provide employment to area residents and help the local economy flourish. It’s just one more way we’re taking care of your world.
6OUR ECOFRIENDLY PRODUCTION
We take improving Quebeckers’ quality of life to heart by preserving the environment with every product we develop. With this in mind, we’ve redesigned the packaging of our large-format detergents and fabric softeners to meet the ecofriendly packaging certification standards of the Conseil des industries durables (council of sustainable industries). It’s a concrete practice that fits into the vision of sustainable development every time we innovate.
